The Film Audience Observatory gives you the key to evaluate the profiles and behaviours of your movie’s audienc

  • In 2016, every week, 1500 cinemagoers ages 3 years and up are interviewed on the films they have seen in the theatre over the past four weeks (films with over 50 copies)
  • The results are adjusted based on the “75,000 Cinema Study” according to criteria such as age, sex, region, city size and theatregoing habits
  • From 2006 to 2015, the study was conducted with respondents ages 6 years and up, on films with a minimum of 300,000 ticket sales, and in 2005-2006, with respondents ages 15 and up. From 1995 to 2004, the study was conducted by telephone (CATI system) with cinema viewers ages 6 and up
